Chakkham, Re-Organizing the School Entrance Space

        การพัฒนาภูมิทัศน์และอัตลักษณ์ (Built Environment) ของโรงเรียนจักรคำคณาทร โรงเรียนประจำจังหวัดลำพูนครั้งนี้ วิสัยทัศน์ของผู้บริหารโรงเรียนมีแนวคิดอยากให้โรงเรียน-เชื่อม-ความเป็นลำพูน เป็นการร้อยเรียง “พื้นที่” เข้ากับ ความทรงจำและประวัติศาสตร์ของเมืองลำพูนอย่างมี “ความหมาย”

แนวคิดการออกแบบนำองค์ประกอบทางสถาปัตยกรรมและศิลปกรรมจาก คุ้มเจ้าหลวงจักรคำฯ (คุ้มของเจ้าหลวงองค์สุดท้ายของเมือง ผู้บริจาคพื้นที่ให้สร้างโรงเรียนเมื่อ 120 กว่าปีมาแล้ว ผู้วางรากฐานด้านการศึกษาให้แก่ลูกหลานชาวลำพูน) มาเป็นแรงบันดาลใจในการออกแบบป้ายโรงเรียนใหม่ และศาลาทางเดิน(Canopy) เข้าโรงเรียนจากประตูฝั่งถนนเจริญราษฎร์ เพื่อสะท้อนอัตลักษณ์ถึงความสง่างาม เรียบร้อย และเกียรติประวัติอันยาวนานของโรงเรียน

“จักรคำฯ ความภาคภูมิใจของลำพูน”

A new design of school's main signage and entrance canopy, enhancing the quality of the built environment while reflecting the historical and cultural identity of Lamphun.

The development goes beyond physical upgrades, seeking to meaningfully connect the space with the collective memory and history of the city. The design draws inspiration from Khum Chao Luang Chakkham, incorporating architectural and decorative elements into a contemporary expression that reflects the local identity in a harmonious way.

The project also includes re-organizing the space around the football field to improve usability and clarity of function. In addition, the school signage is designed to serve both as a visual identity and as a functional element, incorporating a waiting area for students.

This project is also a tribute to Chao Chakkham Khajornsak, who laid the foundation for education in the Lamphun community. “Chakkham — The pride of Lamphun”
