โครงการนี้ไม่ใช่การรีโนเวทตึกเก่า แต่คือการสร้างตึกเก่าขึ้นมาใหม่ชื่อ “ศรีป่าซาง” เป็นชื่อโรงหนังเก่าที่เคยตั้งอยู่บนที่ดินผืนนี้ เจ้าของโรงหนังในอดีตคือคุณปู่ของเจ้าของร้าน I AM COFFEE เราจึงนำชื่อที่เคยอยู่คู่ป่าซางกลับมาอีกครั้ง เป็นแบรนด์ที่แข็งแรง
การออกแบบอาคารใหม่โดยศึกษาฟาสาดสถาปัตยกรรมโมเดิร์นในลำพูน บางแบบในเมืองเก่าลำพูนมีแต่ในป่าซางยังไม่มี
พื้นที่ถูกจัดการใหม่ให้มีการแบ่งสัดส่วนที่ชัดเจน สำหรับธุรกิจท้องถิ่น สามารถบริหารเป็นร้านเดี่ยว หรือแบ่งเป็น 3 ธุรกิจได้ในอนาคต
Project: Sripasang Building — I AM COFFEE

This project is not a renovation of an old building, but rather an attempt to create a new building that carries the character and memory of the old. “Sripasang” was the name of a former cinema that once stood on this site. The cinema was owned by the grandfather of the current owner of I AM COFFEE. By bringing the name back, the project reconnects with a name that has long been part of Pa Sang’s local memory, while reintroducing it as a strong identity for the new business.
The design of the new building draws from a study of modern architectural façades found across Lamphun. Some of these façade typologies can still be seen in Lamphun’s old town, but are not commonly found in Pa Sang.
The site is reorganized into clearly defined zones to support local businesses. The building can operate as a single establishment or be divided into three separate businesses in the future, allowing for flexibility as its use evolves.
